Deanna's Lifetrends
January 2002
To
make LIFETRENDS more accurate, specific birthdates and
planetary placements are cited. If you do not know the location
of your personal planets-Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury and Mars-that
information is available at www.stariq.com
LOVE
IS STRANGE
Fasten
your seat belts. 2003 takes off into some cosmic turbulance created
by the romance planets, Venus and Mars and the king of chaos,
Uranus. Relationships that have already suffered stress fractures
may not withstand the divisive influence of these trends. Add
to this a retrograde Mercury-until the 23rd of the month-and you
have a recipe for misunderstandings and wild goose chases. Make
an effort to think things through before you act on any impulse
until after the 23rd. Between the 8th and the 17th it may be more
difficult to control your temper and avoid accidents. Little things
can go suddenly wrong and the fight or flight syndrom kicks in
before you know it. Road rage, sports upsets and electrical and
mechanical breakdowns are typical manifestations of these trends
so program yourself to rock steady during this bumpy ride and
you will emerge at the end of the month with no lasting damage.
IN
THE HIT ZONE: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius born in the third
week of the month and those having Mercury, Venus, Mars or Moon
between 23-29 degrees in those signs.
NEW
MOON ALERT
If
you were born in the first 3 days of this month your neighborhood
of the Zodiac is enlivened by a New Moon and Mercury this month.
Think back to what you were trying to accomplish in mid-December.
You will finally have what you need to go forward after the 23rd.
Mercury stops it's retrograde motion on the exact degree of the
new Moon-12 Capricorn-meaning those changes, alterations and fresh
starts will have to wait until all of the elements come together
at the end of the month. This also applies to those with Mercury,
Venus, Moon or Mars between 10-14 degrees Capricorn.
ACT
TWO
Return
with us now to the unbearable tension and terror of a Saturn opposition
to Pluto, which is the final phase of a drama that began in the
Summer of 2001. There is no need to enumerate the vast and sweeping
changes that have occured in that time, but it is obvious that
this process is not complete. The threat of war looms over our
daily lives, shocking revelations continue to undermine religious
and political institutions and the economy is crippled by fear
and doubt. This clash of the Cosmic Titans colors the first three
months of 2003 and will be triggered when Venus takes a meeting
with Pluto during the last week of January. The unstoppable Force
(Pluto) of terrorism and fanatical dominance meets opposition
from the immovable Justice (Saturn) of Karma and accountability.
This trend can be compared to the body of humanity trying to rid
itself of cancer. This is going to require drastic surgery, intense
and poisonious chemotherapy and long and painful rehabilitation.
Innocent, healthy cells will die and the entire body will suffer
the effects of this war on malignancy. This isnt terminal, but
it is painful and scary as hell. These are the times when faith
and enlightenment are the safe harbor in the storm. The turbulance
of the 60's did not destroy us, which was the last time these
two planets did their thing in this cosmic territory. Minorities
and women gained new status, sexuality came out of the closet
and the code of secrecy that protected corruption from media exposure
ended during that time. Some would argue that these changes were
not a good thing and have led to depravity and chaos. That is
because their treasured beliefs, bigotries and concepts were outmoded
in the process. America's innocent childhood ended in the 60's
and our sense of invulnerable security was taken away by the events
of the present trend.
On a personal level these energies can destroy or rehabilitate,
depending on how they relate to your planetary placements. Some
will benefit and some suffer losses as the universal scales seek
a balance. If you can remain centered within, these wild swings
of destiny will not interfere with your focus. When Venus gets
together with Pluto it brings out the jealous, manipulative stalker
in the unbalanced. What ever you do, do not attempt to force a
loved one to bend to your will at this time. The price you will
pay for this unwanted and underhanded grab for power will be very
high. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you during
this phase and you will avoid the pitfalls. Plots and backstage
collaborations are squashed by betrayal and romance in general
turns cold and calculating under these trends. Partnerships come
unglued, especially if one of the partners has been keeping secrets.
Love and friendship are subjected to extreme conditions that bring
out the true colors, for better or worse. These powerful energies
will be triggered again next month by war-mongering Mars, so do
not think for a moment that these issues have been resolved just
because they die down after the end of January. The stage is being
set for another big scene early this year and each of us has an
important part to play in this transformational drama.
IN
THE BENEFICIAL HIT ZONE: Aries, Leo, Libra and Aquarius born near
the middle of the month and those having Moon, Venus, Mars or
Mercury between 17-24 degrees in those signs.
IN
THE CHALLENGING HIT ZONE: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces
born near the middle of the month and those having Moon, Venus
Mars or Mercury between 17-24 degrees in those signs. Special
note to Sag-ultimate power ultimately corrupts. If you can use
the opportunities presented to you in 2003 to change things for
the better you can move mountains this year. If you use them for
a monumental ego trip you will have wasted a once in a lifetime
trend.
CELEBRITY
PREDICTIONS FOR 2003
*
As I write this the tabs are filled with rumors of some friendly
interference from MATT DAMON threatening the engagement of BEN
AFFLECK and JENNIFER LOPEZ. 2003 will increase the tenor of of
these tales as mean old Saturn causes Jen to take a harder look
at her fiance in January and February. The last time she had these
trends she kicked #2 to the curb and her feelings are still subject
to sudden change. Add to this Ben's desire to "settle her
down" and we have a recipe for another power struggle that
ends in heartbreak.
*CHRISTINA
AGUILERA should curb a natural attraction to libations and "party
favors" this year, especially in May when misdeeds could
catch up with her. Misbehavior brings severe consequences and
harsh criticism.
*Career
trends for BRAD PITT continue to be problematic. Last year he
walked off an Australian film and the same trends continue to
depress his prospects through June 2003. By July this gloomy phase
is taking it's toll on his relationship with JENNIFER ANISTON,
who will be toiling away on yet another season of Friends Their
devotion is tested by Saturn this Summer, but divorce doesnt seem
to be an option. There will be problems on a collaborative creative
project.
* Beleagured
AOL-Time Warner Chief STEVE CASE is facing major career changes
in 2003. The disasterous merger that has reduced TED TURNER'S
wealth by billions has generated accusations of fraud and misrepresentation.
During this time CASE'S Venus, the planet of partnership and finance
has been under the murky and deceptive influence of Neptune. His
natural tendency to trust the wrong people and his poor character
judgement will catch up with him this year and his personal and
professional existance will undergo drastic renovations.
*It
is so difficult to get one's point across clearly when one's Mercury,
the planet of communication is being challenged by the planet
of misstatement, Neptune. Just ask TRENT LOTT, who in an effort
to praise Senate fossil STROM THURMOND, managed to paint himself
as a throwback racist. The subsequent media uproar and call for
his ouster has just capsized a long career as I write this. LOTT'S
natural difficulty in forming close and intimate relationships
proved to be a big problem this winter as those people he thought
he could count on failed to come to his defense. In spite of his
problems, it looks like his constituency will return him to Washington.
* GEORGE
BUSH'S long ride on the popularity train comes to a stop in the
fall of 2003. Many of the events that occur at that time relate
to 1989-90, the years his father took on SADAAM HUSSEIN and toppled
the Panamanian government. The Soviet Empire also crumbled at
that time. It appears that the family feud and it's lasting lagacy
will catch up with GEORGE W. in the Fall, slowing his forward
momentum. His responsibilities weigh heavily and his health is
not quite so robust as a result of the stress.
* SADDAAM
HUSSEIN disappears from the scene for a while. If he survives
the extreme domestic disruptions this Spring and the dangerous
trends that plague him in June and July, and if his natural tendency
to insanity doesnt overwhelm him, he could resurface in late Fall.
* MELANIE
GRIFFITH and ANTONIO BANDERAS face a difficult test of their love
in March and April. MEL has been coping with Pluto trends to her
Venus, which would explain tabloid headlines claiming that she
is feeling jealous, threatened and insecure. There may be rumors
of separation but the tie that binds these two is very strong
and, hopefully. unbreakable.
* DREW
BARRYMORE has a wild ride ahead in 2003. Creative projects and
romantic encounters prove to be a pain until mid-year, then she
surprises us with a totally unexpected detour into uncharted territory.
* MARLON
BRANDO faces a difficult year complicated by poor health trends.
Accustomed to having it his way at all times, he is going to have
to bow to Karma, who pays a call on Casa BRANDO in 2003.
* Both
MATTHEW BRODERICK and SARA JESSICA PARKER have enjoyed the success
of The Producers and Sex and the City, as well as the blessing
of a new baby. If only 2003 looked as promising. Around mid-year
all early Aries, which they both are, will have to face the delays
and setbacks of a Saturn trend. Both will be down and will need
alot of understanding and support during this phase. I hope their
personal assistants arent also early Aries.
* SANDRA
BULLOCK'S love life remains unfulfilling until late Summer, when
someone very special comes along and lights that magic fire.
* ED
BURNS and CHRISTY TURLINGTON, recently reunited after being apart
for almost a year, wont stay together this time either. ED's natural
aversion to true intimacy will finally wear CHRISTY out by mid-2003.
* NAOMI
CAMPBELL will have more trouble controling that infamous temper
this spring as love and money disappointments test her patience.
* DREW
CAREY craves new horizons in 2003 and may start looking for ways
out of long term commitments. What was once exciting is now a
boring routine and he will look for fresh inspiration in the oddest
places.
* Like
all early Aries, MARIAH CAREY is in for challenging career trends
mid-year, but she may not care. Her romance trends are so spectacular
that she may be able to overcome a natural tendency of not feeling
worthy of a deep and lasting love.
* Sex
and the City's liberated KIM CATTRALL, is a super powerful Leo
woman who is going to continue to surprise us in 2003. The sex
manual written with her husband is only the beginning of a period
of revolutionary events that will shock more conservative minds
and delight sensation seekers, beginning with her late 2002 announcement
that she is separating from her "oversexed" spouse,
who must be asking himself "What do women want?".
* Voice
of an Angel, CHARLOTTE CHURCH, who has moved out from under Mom's
protective wing to live with her rocker boyfriend, will be trading
her angelic image for a wild new direction in 2003.
* SEAN
"P DIDDY" COMBS drifts away from reality and into an
increasingly secluded lifestyle.
* RUSSELL
CROWE'S engagement to long suffering fiance DANIELLE SPENCER is
only a temporary bandaid to cover embarrassment caused by his
Aussie penchant for public brawling. His natural fear of committment
and closeness will undo his good intentions by mid-year and she
will understand because of her natural tendency to be willing
to settle for less in love affairs.
* If
PENELOPE CRUZ can resist an urge to make demands on TOM CRUISE
this winter, she will avoid a nasty breakup and will be there
in July when he will be ready to put all those crippling insecurities
to rest with a permanate commitment. If this hot romance doesnt
survive the chilly winds of February, TOM finds another partner
this Summer.
* MATT
DAMON, who is rumored to have driven the wedge between J LO and
best friend BEN, continues to put off marriage with his long time
girlfriend. An easily disappointed idealist, he really isnt a
natural fit for the realities of marriage, nor is he inclined
to approve of the lavish gifts BEN has been giving to J LO and
her mother.
*After
a Neptunian influenced 4 year hiatus, DANIEL DAY LEWIS roars back
to the screen with Gangs of New York in a gripping performance
that will probably be ignored by Oscar.
* LEONARDO
DICAPRIO. Oscar? Not.
* MICHAEL
DOUGLAS, who will welcome his second child with wife, CATHERINE
ZETA-JONES, should enjoy some home time with family in 2003, because
his career trends really suck. Same goes for CATHERINE, who was
also born on September 25th. All early Libras can expect a grim
reality check from Saturn this Summer.
* ROBERT
DOWNEY JR. faces more problems with the law if he allows setbacks
to push him off the wagon next Fall.
* BOB
DYLAN reinvents himself in 2003 and surprises many of his fans
with radical changes.
* JANE
FONDA continues a difficult passage which has stirred up many
of her childhood insecurities and compromised her normally robust
health. A Pluto trend to her Venus is making it difficult to get
past her failed relationship with ex, TED TURNER, whose fortunes
have dwindled dramatically due to the AOL-Time-Warner merger.
The fiscal fiasco continues unabated for this billionaire who
once observed "You dont have to be smart to make alot of
money".
* JAMES
GANDOLFINI may be free of his brief marriage, but he still feels
oppressed by a heavy work load and a lack of energy. Hopefully
he will resist an urge to tie the knot again this Summer because
this is not a person who adapts easily to the constraints of matromony.
* BILL
GATES emerges from a dark and confusing 3 year trend and returns
to stability and security in 2003.
* RICHARD
GERE enjoys fabulous career trends in the Fall of 2003.
* There
will be some big adjustments in the long-standing union between
GOLDIE HAWN and KURT RUSSELL. Both will be wrestling with the
middle age crazies for the first half of 2003. KURT is feeling
his age and GOLDIE is going thru a second childhood which may
put them at odds for a while.
* WHITNEY
HOUSTON. More of the same. Her slow suicide pact with partner
BOBBY BROWN continues to follow it's destructive path and she
recedes further from reality and deeper into her "party".
* KATE
HUDSON'S seemingly blissful marriage to Black Crowes singer CHRIS
ROBINSON has not been the perfection that this hopeless romantic
was expecting. The chemistry here is very strong and may compensate
for the lack of abundant love and support she enjoyed with GOLDIE
and KURT. She will need that warmth and security this winter,
but CHRIS is more interested in remolding her with tough love.
* LIZ
HURLEY is in for a battle with sperm donor STEPHEN BING, who will
probably sue for involvement in raising their child, DAMIEN. Although
she has refused child support from reluctant father BING, it appears
that she will be forced to endure his input after being forced
to prove the paternity of this litigation happy Hollywood hanger-on.
* Look
for signs of a complete meltdown this Summer for The King of Neverland,
MICHAEL JACKSON. He loses control as the fading whisps of his
career evaporate. He will try new things, but having lost touch
with his maturing fan base, he just comes off as a strange and
forced imitation of a once brilliant artist.
* Occasional
bad boy DON JOHNSON should clean up his act this Winter. His trends
warn him to keep his activities on the straight and narrow during
the first 3 months of the year or mug shots could replace head
shots in his portfolio.
* Will
ANGELINA JOLIE take a very confused BILLY BOB THORNTON back? Lets
hope not. He will be drifting in and out of the twilight zone
for the next few years and...wait a minute...that makes them perfect
for each other!
* NICHOLE
KIDMAN finally puts the past behind her and finds a wonderful
new man in June.
* JOHNNY
KNOXVILLE. What a Jackass! This mans insane stunts, which have
inspired catastrophic accidents and injuries nationwide, should
get out of the risky business before his trends turn decidedly
dangerous this Spring.
* Career
suicide, anyone? Follow ROB LOWE'S example of how to lose friends
and influence industry honchos to forget your name. He will continue
to remain blind to the consequences of his misguided segue from
West Wing.
* Now
that Swept Away has been...well...swept away, MADONNA can look
forward to a really successful year.
* Keeping
the passion under wraps is depressing for RICKY MARTIN. His Vida
is a little more Frio than Loca until mid-year.
* PAUL
MCCARTNEY'S health bears careful watching this year.
* Scorpios
born near November 4, like MATTHEW MCCONAUGHY should take it easy
with the libations and "party favors" this year. They
are much more sensitive and vulnerable to the destructive effects
of overindulgence thanks to a debilitating Neptune trend.
* JULIANNE
MOORE. Oscar? Yes!
* MIKE
MEYERS' erratic genius takes some wild detours this year. Many
of his friends and associates remain confused by his inability
to stick to a scheduled agenda.
* Big
Bad Wolf JACK NICHOLSON has definitely met his match in Sly Fox
LARA FLYNN BOYLE. Their on and off relationship fits the mold
for two people who abhor routine and bore easily. There is a strong
karmic tie that suggests that they were war buddies in a previous
life which makes them well qualified to duke it out in the trenches
of Tinsletown. Both will be fighting off the blues in 2003.
* Ex
Queen of Nice ROSIE O'DONNELL faces some serious setbacks mid-year,
which indicates that her law suit with the publishers of her defunct
magazine will not go as she hopes.
* GWENNETH
PALTROWS career picture is out of focus this year but it will
not matter when she finds love this Summer.
* Cutest
Couple RYAN PHILLIPE and REESE WITHERSPOON have had difficulty
keeping a balance as her career flourishes and his flounders.
This year will bring more pressure and RYAN'S disappointment could
cause him to look for reassurance elsewhere.
* Friends
rally to the aid of CHRISTOPHER REEVE when he suffers setbacks
in June. His unfailing courage is tested by Saturn trends this
year.
* On
the surface, it appears that JULIA ROBERTS has found happiness
with cameraman DANNY MODER, whom she purloined from his recent
bride. With Pluto threatening her love planet, Venus, and Uranus
bearing down on her Moon, her private life is in for some drastic
changes, probably in the first few months of 2003. She has a natural
tendency to be very controling and exacting with her partners
and MODER isnt the type to respond to pressure favorably.
* Trouble
in Paradise ahead for one of Hollywood's most gorgeous couples,
REBECCA and JOHN ROMIJN-STAMOS, this year. While her career soars,
his continues to idle until mid-year-about the time that REBECCA
takes a critical inventory of the relationship.
* DIANA
ROSS, who doesnt seem to be adjusting to the aging process with
her usual grace, pays a heavy price this year if she indulges
a natural tendency to illusion and escapism. Drugs and alcohol
are poison to this sensitive Aries and should be avoided completely
in 2003.
* Cinema
Sweetheart, MEG RYAN, continues to look and long for a Prince
Charming to fulfill her fantasies, but a Neptune trend to her
Venus calls for perfection that no mere mortal could satisfy.
Her natural idealism becomes delusional under this influence,
which explains why she fell for a faithless bar brawler like RUSSELL
CROWE. The rose-colored Raybans come off next year, but in the
meantime she will continue to seek the impossible dream.
* The
strange twists and turns of the WINONA RYDER saga are not quite
over, but she does pull out of a debillitating 4 year Neptune
trend that has led her down a very slippery slope. 2003 gets off
to a very bumpy start and dramatic mood swings complicate this
year, but they will bring changes for the better.
* The
eagerly anticipated return of JERRY SEINFELD will probably not
occur in 2003. His personal life will be the focus of his energies
as the divorce planet, Uranus, aspects his Venus and Pluto disrupts
his Moon. Intense emotional pressure and a sudden desire to be
free will threaten his domestic bliss.
* WILL
SMITH'S upward momentum hits some turbulance in mid 2003, and
he endures a year of setbacks and decreased popularity
* Movie
mega-mogul STEVEN SPIELBERG, is feeling his age this year and
his normally boundless energy is drained by chronic inflamation
and frustration.
* SYLVESTER
STALLONE may be able to squeeze one more blockbuster out of his
declining super hero franchise this Summer, but by Fall he realizes
that those days are over.
* MARTHA
STEWART manages to sidestep trouble until May by using every legal
means possible, but this former stockbroker can hardly plead ignorance
when she must face the consequences of her choices. Her domestic
empire continues to diminish and she pays a heavy price for imagining
that she could hide her mistakes.
* BARBRA
STREISAND and JAMES BROLIN have been enduring very challenging
trends to both of their Venus'. Her current need to remake the
relationship is interfering with their intimacy and he is having
a more difficulty connecting with that cosmic Gemini love jones
they share. By mid-Summer the fun that is so essential for this
relationship to work will be back in the picture.
* ELIZABETH
TAYLOR, who was born with the divorce planet, Uranus, parked right
next to her Venus, was never meant to stay with one partner forever;
however, 2003 is an especially stellar year for romance, with
both Pluto and Jupiter pushing love in her direction.
* JOHN
TRAVOLTA enters a 3 year "period of adjustment" that
changes almost everything in his life, both personally and professionally.
His urge to fly away from the status quo and explore new horizons
takes him into a far different future.
